Photometers

Direct access to the measurements of the last 24 hours of the Extremaduran skies thanks to the photometric network installed in the region.

"Extremadura is a unique destination for observing the night sky. An incredible region to live, feel, enjoy..., where nothing ends when the sun goes down. When the night appears, Extremadura wakes up".

Evolution of the night sky brightness over the last 24 hours. The horizontal (x) axis shows the time in hours while the y-axis contains the zenith sky brightness measured in magnitudes per square arcsecond. A higher value of the y-axis - or magnitudes - will imply more darkness of the night sky which will normally mean less light pollution.
